In March 2012 we are returning to the high desert in Southern California to an area known as Joshua Tree. I have been called, Awakened Wisdom has been called and now I am asking if you are being called to this auspicious event in the desert.
We are going to gather at the Joshua Tree Retreat Center and we are going on a vision journey together.
We will gather, partner with the land and we will dive into the very personal question about what is next for you and what part will you play in the evolution that is already taking place both within you and around you.
I have been stirred to bring a group to the desert for a while now. I have been holding the question of why, where, when, and who.

Here is a short story about this event.
A while back I was riding my motorcycle across the southwestern USA. One thing that I do well is respond to the call and so without knowing why exactly, I knew this ride was part of a bigger call. As I passed through the high desert of the Joshua Tree area in Southern California I felt the land calling, speaking to me as I rode, telling me that I would be returning with a group of people, an awakening group. I noticed this profound message and filed it away knowing that when the time was right I would respond.

 Fast forward a year or more later. I was sitting in my home in Vancouver, Canada and I opened up the question of whether or not the time was right to bring a group out to the desert. As I sat there holding this question the phone rang. The caller identified herself as representing the Joshua Tree Retreat Center and asked if I was interested in putting on a retreat. The synchronicity was amazing especially as she and I had never met and I had never been to or contacted this retreat center. We talked and agreed to stay in touch – no commitments were made.

Fast forward several months later. I felt stirred again by this calling to assemble a group and get out on the land. This time I was sitting in my office in California and I reopened the question: when, where, why.
Remarkably in the very moment that I opened this question up the phone rang. It was the same women from the Joshua Tree retreat center. We had not spoken since the first call nor had we communicated at all. She asked one more time if I was interested in bringing a group out to Joshua tree.
Now I knew that this was the time to say yes. This was the third time that the land at Joshua Tree had called. When the Universe knocks three times you really ought to say yes and so I did.
We will never know all the reasons behind the Universe’s calling. Our minds will rationalize and “figure it out” and that is fine and we will still never know the full, “why” behind a calling like this.

When?
I looked into a variety of times, and it became clear to me that March 2012 was the correct time to return. There is a mystery in this timing as there is all throughout this event. We are in the midst of a great global shift in consciousness. October is a time of harvest and preparation, and time to ask the question of what is next and what is needed so that we may all play our part in the unfolding of this exciting time.
We will gather on March 12th and we will be together on the land until March 18th, 2012. We will bend time together at this gathering and we will travel far and deep during our event.
 

Why?
This may be the biggest mystery of all. We are all called to awaken to our genius. As I stated earlier we are in a great time of awakening right now and each of us has a part to play in this awakening.
It is essential that we step out of the busyness of our lives and commune with the land. We will open our hearts, minds and bodies to the questions that are relevant for you in particular.

This is a Journey into the Unknown. One that we can ignore or embrace and throw ourselves into. Walk with us and hold the question “What are we being called to?” and as we do this we are already serving at a high level on behalf of All.

Who?
Feeling the resonance with this calling? Then it is for you.
It is not for me to say who should be there but rather for you to notice your own calling to this event and to then respond. It is bigger than any of us and we are all being guided by a wisdom that transcends us all. The only question is will you respond?

Where?
We will partner with the land, we will roam, explore, share, challenge, drum, question, eat, fast, sleep, dream, not sleep, enjoy, be challenged, be comfortable, not be comfortable, we will bow to the high desert land and humble ourselves to listen.

How?
